Bunker Adjustment Factor for Barge Transport in November 2016

The gasoil-price-index monitored by CBRB, Rotterdam, has risen slightly. Hence, Bunker Adjustment Factor (BAF) for September 2016 is settled to scale 13 of the Frankenbach BAF Scheme. Kindly take note.

You may find the complete Frankenbach BAF Scheme in the download area of our homepage www.frankenbach.com

Holidays in Rhineland-Palatinate on 01th November 2016

Please consider the upcoming holiday in Rhineland-Palatinate and the resulting shortened working week for your transport planning. Our barge and train transports will run as scheduled. The FCT container terminal and the office in Mainz will be closed on 01th  (All Saints Day).

Frankenbach starts with EGS new project to Nuremberg

To meet the growing seasonal demand, ECT subsidiary European Gateway Services (EGS) in cooperation with intermodal operator Frankenbach recently had barges sail between Rotterdam and the TriCon Containerterminal in Nuremberg. These barge connections complete the daily rail service between Rotterdam and Nuremberg/Munich from EGS and the “ContainerConnect” barge shuttle service from Frankenbach between Mainz and Aschaffenburg.
Currently, we are stepping up our efforts to establish the connection and will inform you shortly.
If you are interested in intermodal transport solutions, please feel free to contact us.
