To strengthen our team at the Mainz-Mombach branch in the area of forwarding, we are looking for someone to start immediately in a permanent/full-time position
Freight forwarding clerk with experience in sea freight (m/f/d)
Your challenge
You will be responsible for the acceptance, planning and execution of sea freight orders (import or export). Communication with customers, freight forwarders, shipping companies and other service providers is part of your daily tasks. Customs clearance in compliance with regulations, freight calculation, preparation of quotations and shipment tracking are no problem for you. Billing to customers as well as the verification of documents from used service providers and the processing of complaints complete your area of responsibility.
Your qualities
A successfully completed apprenticeship in the field of forwarding or a comparable qualification as well as professional experience in customs (import/export) are desirable. A confident handling of common MS Office programs (especially Excel), good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken, will facilitate your work. You show commitment, a sense of responsibility, are an organizational talent, flexible and able to work in a team.
