Bunker surcharge for inland waterway shipments in June 2025
The gas oil price index determined by CBRB, Rotterdam, has fallen; for June 2025, the bunker surcharge (BAF) is set to level 31 of the Frankenbach BAF scale. We kindly ask for your attention. The complete BAF scale can be found in the download area of our homepage www.frankenbach.com
Update Congestion Situation in Rotterdam and Antwerp
We would like to inform you about the existing delays in the seaports of Antwerp and Rotterdam: Waiting times in Rotterdam are currently up to 96 hours. In Antwerp, waiting times of up to 72 hours are occurring.
We would therefore like to point out once again that arrival times cannot be guaranteed and closings cannot be kept. We must therefore disclaim any liability for any resulting costs (e.g. demurrage and detention) as a precaution.
Terminal opening hours during the upcoming holidays
We kindly ask you to consider the upcoming holidays on 09.06. and 19.06.2025 and the associated two shortened working weeks (CW 24 & 25). The FCT Container Terminal Mainz and the office will be closed on both holidays. In addition, we will have limited incoming and outgoing traffic with our carriers during this period.
Please take these restrictions into account when planning your transport; we kindly ask for early reservations if possible. Our Customer Service team will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
