Bunker surcharge for inland waterway shipments in February 2026
The gas oil price index determined by KBN, Rotterdam, has fallen slightly; for February 2026, the bunker surcharge (BAF) will be set at level 34 of the Frankenbach BAF scale.

Update Congestion Situation in Rotterdam and Antwerp
We would like to inform you about the existing delays in the seaports of Antwerp and Rotterdam: Waiting times in Rotterdam are currently up to 96 hours. In Antwerp, waiting times are up to 42 hours. We would therefore like to point out that arrival times cannot be guaranteed and closings may not be kept. We must reject any liability for all resulting costs (e.g., demurrage and detention) as a precaution.
Terminal opening hours on Rose Monday
On Rose Monday, February 16, 2026, the FCT Container Terminal Mainz and the office will only be open from 07:00 – 12:00. We would also like to point out that traffic closures and diversions will occur in the region due to the Rose Monday parade in Mainz and other parades and events.
Please take these restrictions into account when planning your transport.
