Bunker surcharge for inland waterway shipments in April 2026
The gas oil price index determined by KBN, Rotterdam has increased. For April 2026, the bunker adjustment factor (BAF) will be set at level 38
of the Frankenbach BAF scale. We kindly ask for your attention.

Update Congestion Situation in Rotterdam and Antwerp
We would like to inform you about the existing delays in the seaports of Antwerp and Rotterdam:
Waiting times in Rotterdam currently amount to up to 96 hours. In Antwerp, waiting times of up to 42 hours are occurring.
We would therefore like to point out that arrival times cannot be guaranteed and closings cannot be kept.
We must reject any liability for all resulting costs (e.g., demurrage and detention) as a precaution.
Rail Energy Surcharge Q2 / 2026
The quarterly Rail Energy Surcharge remains at the previous level.
Please note a rate of 12.00 euros per TEU for the second quarter of 2026.
Adjustment Peak Surcharge Truck
Due to adjustments by terminal operators in Rotterdam and Antwerp regarding their respective peak surcharges
Regarding truck handling, we would also like to inform you about our surcharges effective April 1, 2026:
Rotterdam: Terminal RWG 31.00 euros
Antwerp: Terminal DPW / 1700 20.00 euros
For all other terminals, the previously communicated amounts remain unchanged.
Terminal opening hours during the upcoming Easter holidays
Please take into account the upcoming Easter holidays on April 3 and April 6, 2024, and the two associated shortened work weeks (CW 14 & 15).
The FCT Container Terminal Mainz and the office will be closed on both holidays. Furthermore, we will have restricted incoming and outgoing traffic across our transport modes during this period.
Please take these restrictions into account when planning your transport; we kindly ask for early reservations if possible.
