General strike in Belgium
Dear Customers,
Please be advised that a nationwide general strike has been announced in Belgium for the period of November 24 – November 26, 2025. This may cause delays in the handling of seagoing vessels and all other modes of transport, particularly in the Port of Antwerp. We will, of course, make every effort to minimize any impact on our customers.
However, we ask for your understanding that arrival times for our customers cannot be guaranteed and closings may not be met. We must, as a precaution, reject any liability for any resulting costs (e.g. demurrage and detention).
