Bunker surcharge for inland waterway shipments in December 2025
The gas oil price index determined by KBN, Rotterdam, has remained stable,

Update Congestion Situation in Rotterdam and Antwerp
We would like to inform you about the existing delays in the seaports of Antwerp and Rotterdam: Waiting times in Rotterdam are currently up to 96 hours. In Antwerp, waiting times of up to 58 hours are occurring.
We would therefore like to point out that arrival times cannot be guaranteed and closings cannot be kept. We must reject any liability for all resulting costs (e.g. demurrage and detention) as a precaution.
Terminal opening hours during the upcoming holidays
Please take into account the upcoming holidays on December 25th and 26th, as well as on January 1st, 2026 and the shortened working weeks (CW 52 & 1). The FCT Container Terminal Mainz and the office will be closed on these days. On December 24th and 31st, we are only open for half a day. Furthermore, there will be a limited entry and exit in rail transport and partly in inland waterway transport in the period CW 52 – CW 1. From December 31, 2025 – January 4, 2026 there will be no rail transport from Mainz to Rotterdam and vice versa.
Please take these restrictions into account when planning your transport.
