We focus on environmentally friendly transport solutions in order to make our contribution to protecting our planet. With inland vessels, trains and several electric trucks within our fleet, we offer efficient and sustainable logistics options that significantly reduce CO₂ emissions.
Inland vessels are an environmentally friendly alternative for transporting goods on rivers and canals, while trains transport large quantities of goods in an environmentally friendly and reliable manner over long distances. Our electric trucks also ensure emission-free transport on the road without sacrificing flexibility.
Together for a clean future – with environmentally friendly transport solutions that are efficient, reliable and sustainable.
Certified energy efficient – ISO 50001 successfully introduced
In August, our energy management system was successfully certified in accordance with ISO 50001. This enables us to systematically record and optimize our energy consumption and create the basis for a continuous improvement in our energy efficiency.
A particular focus is on our vehicle fleet: seven fully electric trucks are already in daily use for us and are actively contributing to the reduction of emissions.
With the energy management system, we are strengthening our environmental strategy and making an important contribution to sustainable and future-oriented logistics.
As a logistics company, we have a special responsibility for the sustainable use of resources along the entire supply chain. With our established environmental and energy management system, we continuously record, analyze and optimize our energy consumption at all of our locations. Through the targeted use of modern technology, efficient processes and regular training, we create transparency and sustainably reduce our CO² emissions.
A central component of our energy management is the increased use of photovoltaic systems for generating our own electricity – especially at our logistics locations with large roof areas and high energy requirements.
We currently have several PV systems with a total output of 1,500 kWp. With the electricity produced, we cover our own needs at the locations and thus save more than 500 tons of CO² emissions annually.
In addition, we are increasingly focusing on the use of electric trucks and alternative fuels in order to further reduce CO² emissions in transport logistics. By gradually switching to electric vehicles and using synthetic fuels, such as HVO100 in our fleet, we are improving the energy-efficient use of our vehicles and making an active contribution to climate-friendly transport.
In this way, we combine economy with environmental awareness – for sustainable logistics.
