Bunker surcharge for inland waterway shipments in May 2026<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

The gas oil price index determined by KBN, Rotterdam has increased. For May 2026, the bunker adjustment factor (BAF) will be set at level 55 <\/p>\n

of the Frankenbach BAF scale. We kindly ask for your attention. <\/p>\n

\nUpdate Congestion Situation in Rotterdam and Antwerp<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

We would like to inform you about the existing delays in the seaports of Antwerp and Rotterdam:<\/p>\n

Waiting times in Rotterdam currently amount to up to 96 hours. In Antwerp, waiting times of up to 42 hours are occurring. <\/p>\n

We would therefore like to point out that arrival times cannot be guaranteed and closings cannot be kept.<\/p>\n

We must reject any liability for all resulting costs (e.g., demurrage and detention) as a precaution.<\/p>\n

Construction Work \/ Train Restrictions <\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Due to construction work on the main line, from May 25, – 26.05. There will be no train service between Mainz and Rotterdam and vice versa.<\/p>\n

Terminal opening hours during the upcoming holidays<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Please note the upcoming Easter holidays on May 1, May 14, and May 25, 2026, and the associated <\/p>\n

shortened work weeks (calendar weeks 18, 20 & 22). On both public holidays, the FCT Container Terminal Mainz and the office will be closed. <\/p>\n

Additionally, during this period, we will have restricted inbound and outbound traffic with our carriers.<\/p>\n

Please take these restrictions into account when planning your transport; we kindly ask for early reservations if possible.<\/p>\n
