Bunker surcharge for inland waterway vessel loading in June 2024
The gas oil price index determined by CBRB, Rotterdam, has risen slightly,

Update Congestion Situation in Rotterdam and Antwerp
We would like to inform you about the existing delays in the seaports of Antwerp and Rotterdam: Waiting times in Rotterdam are currently up to 96 hours. In Antwerp, waiting times of up to 32 hours are occurring.
We would therefore like to point out once again that arrival times cannot be guaranteed and closings cannot be kept. We must therefore disclaim any liability for any resulting costs (e.g. demurrage and detention) as a precaution.
Introduction of Peak Surcharge at DP World Terminal
According to the announcement of the DP Word Terminal in Antwerp, a so-called peak surcharge will be introduced on 06.06.2024.
This refers to all truck handling during the main handling times of a day.
Since we have no influence on these costs due to operational necessities (e.g. driving and rest times), we are forced to pass this amount on to our customers as a lump sum.
As a result, with effect from 06.06.2024, we will have to charge a peak surcharge of 14.00 euros net for all truckings from / to the DP World Terminal.
